It might be pointed out that the US economy is just like the US Airways plane that crashed into the Hudson River in New York on January 15. Analogy may be made, as the US economy was suddenly hit by the subprime loan problem, just as the plane was struck by birds unexpectedly. And in the both cases there have been tremendous efforts for "soft-landing" to avoid a fatal crash. Here the question is whether Mr. Obama can be a real hero to save the US economy, just like the US Airways pilot who managed to save all the passengers miraculously.
