北朝鮮２回目の核実験？：N. Korea's 2nd Nuclear Test?

今朝テレビで臨時ニュースが流れ、北朝鮮が2回目の核実験を行なった模様という報道があった。ＮＨＫでさえも「北朝鮮で揺れが察知されたが、2回目の核実験かもしれない」と報じたほどである。
しかしその後はそのような報道は否定され、日本政府も米国政府も今朝核実験があったことは確認できないと否定的な発表を行なった。
実際に、1回目の実験についてさえも疑問視する向きが増えている。米国政府は北朝鮮でも爆発が予想より小さかったので実験は失敗したという見解を発表している。いずれにせよ、北朝鮮に対して感情的になりすぎたりただ怒りをぶつけたりするのではなく、注意深く情報とデータを集めて分析し、有効な行動がとれるように冷静な意思決定を行なうことが必要ではないだろうか。

This morning special TV reporting was made about North Korea's second nuclear test. Even NHK reported that "in North Korea there seemed to have been a jolt, which might be another nuclear test."
However, a series of denials followed at the official level. Both the Japanese and the U.S. governments denied that there was a nuclear test this morning.
Actually, even the first nuclear test is increasingly in doubt, as the U.S. government has expressed the opinion that the first one was most likely a failure in view of the smaller-than-expected explosion in North Korea. In any case, it is necessary to collect information and data carefully so as to make prudent decisions for effective actions against North Korea without excessive emotion or blind anger.

政府も政策を審議する国会も『北朝鮮に対して感情的になりすぎたりただ怒りをぶつけたり』しているようにはわたくしには判断できませんが・・・。
