Who should be the next Prime Minister of Japan? One possibility is someone who can speak both in English and Arabic, so that he or she could directly handle the both sides of the world, as it happens that today is the 7th anniversary of the 9/11 incident. In fact, there is such a person among the candidates in the current LDP president election, that is Ms. Yuriko Koike, who has launched her bid to become Japan's first woman prime minister. She is well-known as a former caster on TV and quite popular among the general public, but virtually has no power within the party except that she once became defense minister for a short period of time. The best she can hope for, therefore, may be next to the next prime minsiter, who is likely to be Mr. Taro Aso, frontrunner in the current LDP presidential election. Hopefully, nothing like 9/11 will happen in Japan in the meantime.
