According to today's Mainichi article (see the link above), Japanese amine hero "Ultrama"n has come to rescue an economically declining airport in Japan. In fact, a 3-meter-high statue of Ultraman has been erected in Fukushima's Airport terminal building in an attempt to attract more passengers. Why Ultraman? Because the late Eiji Tsuburaya, who created Ultraman, was born in a town next to this airport, and the airport is celebrating the 15th anniversaty of its opening. Everyone is hoping that Ultraman can be a savior for the world and for this airport in particular.
