NHKのインサイダー取引疑惑："Insider Trading" at NHK

社内調査に疑問：Doubt about Inhouse Investigation

本日の「Japan Times」の記事（下のリンク参照）によると、NHKは記者2人とディレクター1人に対するインサイダー取引疑惑が起きたことを受けて、1万1千人の社員にそれぞれの株取引状況を聞き取り調査するとのこと。
しかし第三者が捜査しない限り、単に会社が社内で社員たちに聞いても違反を見つけることは難しいであろう。
今後ともNHKの事態の展開を注意深く見て行きたい。

According to today's Japan Times article (see the link above), NHK said "it will ask each of its 11,000 employees about their stock transactions, including whether they trade based on unpublished information obtained through their work" in the aftermath of the incident that two reporters and a director at NHK were accused of engaging in insider trading.
However, there is little chance of finding further wrongdoings on the part of any employee, so long as they are "asked" about their stock transactions, rather than "investigated" by some independent authorities.
So we need to watch this development at NHK carefully from now on.
