1面では、著名なジャーナリストで日本専門家であるサム・ジェームソン氏が「日本政治の過去・現在・未来」について情報発信セミナーでプレゼンを行ったことが取り上げられおり、そこで今後の展開についていくつかのシナリオが説明されている。サム・ジェームソン氏の結論は、日経論説委員の田勢康弘氏の意見とほぼ同じで、田勢氏の発言については、FCCJのシンポジウムの要旨に載っている通りである（以下のレポート参照）：

On page 1, a report is posted about notable journalist and Japan specialist Sam Jameson's seminar talk on "the past, present and future of Japanese politics," where he examined some possible scenarios on future political developments in Japan. His conclusions are similar to those presented by Nikkei columnist Yasuhiro Tase, whose opinions are summarized in the activity report linked above.
