皆が知っているビッグマック：Everyone Knows About Big Mac

本日のMSN産経ニュースの記事（下のリンク参照）によれば、米国のケルトン・リサーチ社の調査で、ビッグマックの具財のほうが聖書の「十戒」の内容よりも一般によく知られていることが分かったという。
例えば、1000人の回答者のうち80％がビッグマックの主要な中身は「ビーフパテが2枚」を知っていたが、十戒の一つである「なんじ殺すなかれ」を知っていたのは60％以下だった。
ある意味でこれは当然の結果である。実際、ケルトン・リサーチ社は10月19日公開のアニメ映画「十戒」を宣伝するキャンペーンの一環としてこの調査を行なったという。

It is reported in MSN Sankei News dated 10/15 and World Net Daily dated 10/8 (see the links above) that, according to a recent survey conducted by Kelton Research, more Americans can name the seven ingreients in a Big Mac hamburger than the Ten Commandments.
A new survey shows more Americans can name the seven ingredients in a McDonald's Big Mac hamburger than the Ten Commandments.
In particular, 80% of the respondents knew thatthe main ingredient of a Big Mac is two beef patties, whereas leass than 60% recalled the commandment "Thou shalt not kill."
In a sense, this is no surprise. Actually, Kelton Research conducted this survey to promote the animated movie "The Ten Commandments," opening October 19.
