カリフォルニアからの脱出？：Runaway from California?

カリフォルニアは映画ビジネスをつなぎ止められるか？その答えは、カリフォルニアの上院で議論される免税措置の法案の行方に左右される可能性が高い。この法案はすでに下院で可決されており、映画、テレビ、コマーシャルのプロダクションを支援するものである。
もしこれが上院で通らなければ、映画ビジネスがカリフォルニアから脱出するスピードを加速させ、他の州や他の国がさらにハリウッド映画ビジネスを引き付けるようになるであろう。日本もその可能性が出て来ると思われる。

Can California keep its movie business? The answer may well depend on the fate of the tax credit bill to be discussed in the California Senate. The Assembly already passed the bill to favor film, television and commercial producers in California.
If the Senate fails to pass it, then the speed of "runaway" film production would likely accelerate in California, and other states and other countries, possibly including Japan, could have a better chance to attract Hollywood movie business.
