下がる東京の生計費：Tokyo Dropping in Living Cost Ranking

主に円が安くなったため：Mainly Due to Lower Yen

マーサー・ヒューマン・リソース・コンサルティングの最近の調査（下のリンク参照）によれば、2007年の世界で一番生計費の高い都市はモスクワで、昨年に続き2年連続。2位はロンドン。
東京は昨年の3位から今年は4位に順位を下げ、3位のソウルの次に位置している。大阪も6位から8位に下がったが、この理由は、主に円が安くなったためと考えられる。

According to a recent survey done by Mercer Human Resource Consulting (see the link above), the world's most expensive city for 2007 is Moscow, just as last year, followed by London.
Tokyo dropped from the 3th last year to the 4th place this year, next to Seoul. Osaka has also moved down from the 6th to the 8th, mainly due to a lower yen.
