世界中に波及する悪影響：Bad Effects on the Whole World

ロサンゼルス・タイムズによれば（下のリンク参照）、中国の急速な発展は単にアジア太平洋地域に限らず、北極圏や米西海岸を含む世界中の環境に影響を及ぼしている。
中国の高度成長が続かないと思われる理由は色々あり、政治の不安定化や資源制約などがよく指摘される。しかしグローバルな視点で見た最大の理由は環境上の問題で、それは中国一国の問題を超えた世界全体の問題といえよう。

It is reported in Los Angeles Times (see the link above) that China's rapid development seems to affect the environment not only in the Asia Pacific region, but in other parts of the world including the Arctic and the West Coast of the U.S.
There are a number of reasons why China's high growth cannot be sustained, such as possible political instability and resource constraints. From the global point of view, however, by far the biggest reason should be environmental concern, not just for China itself, but for the whole world.
