温暖化で変わる世界地図：Global Warming Changes World Map

スキー・コメ・ワイン地図の変化：Affecting Ski/Rice/Wine Maps

このところ地球温暖化とその日常生活への影響についての新聞記事が多く見受けられるようになった。「Daily Yomiuri」（下のリンク参照）は、国連のレポートによれば、温暖化が世界の「スキー地図」や「米作地図」などを根本的に変えていると報じている。
同様に「ロサンゼルス・タイムズ」（下のリンク参照）によれば、世界の「ワイン地図」が塗り替えられつつあり、特にシャンパーニュやナパのワイン地帯が気候の変化を受けやすいとのこと。
今や、ブッシュ米大統領を含めて誰もが「不都合な真実」（アル・ゴアの映画：http://www.climatecrisis.net/）に真剣に向きあう時がきたのではないだろうか。

There are many newspaper articles about global warming and its impact on human activities these days. Daily Yomiuri (see the link above) reports that our world maps such as the "ski" map, the "rice" map, etc. are being fundamentally altered by global warming, according to the UN.
Similarly, LA Times (see the link above) reports that the world wine map is being redrawn, and in particular, Champagne and Napa are among the most vulnerable climatewise.
It is about time for all of us, including US President Bush, to face up to the "inconvenient truth" (Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth": http://www.climatecrisis.net/).
