米ガソリン価格は高すぎるか？：US Gas Price Too High?

日本やドイツより割安：Much Lower than Japan, Germany

こちら米国ではガソリンの値段がガロンあたり4ドルを超えたといって騒いでいるが、これを1ガロンが3.78541リッターで、1ドルが105円で換算すると、リッターあたりたった111円にしかならない。
一方、日本では暫定税率が復活したこともあり、レギュラーガソリンの値段がリッターあたり150円前後になっているので、米国より3割以上高いことになる。
つまり、米国は日本と比べれば、いまだにガソリン価格が安い国なのである。
それだけではない、ユーロが高いEU諸国と比べると、たとえばドイツでは、リッターあたり230円（ガロンあたり8.7ドル！）なので、米国の2倍以上という驚異的な数字！
つまり、米国ではガソリンの単価は比較的低いが、頻繁に車を使うので、支払の負担感が大きく不満も多くなるのであろう。
