助けにやってきたウルトラマン：Ultraman Comes to Rescue

福島空港のPR戦術：PR Tactic of Fukushima Airpot

「Asahi.com」の日本文記事および「Mainichi Japan」の英文記事（下のリンク参照）によると、日本のアニメ・ヒーローであるウルトラマンが経済的に苦しんでいる空港を助けに来たとのこと。実際に、福島空港のターミナルビルには3メートル大のウルトラマンの像が立てられ、乗客の誘致に一役買っている。
なぜウルトラマンかというと、この空港の隣り町が、ウルトラマンの作家円谷英二の生まれ故郷だからという。
ぜひこのヒーローが世界を救い、特にこの空港を救ってくれるように皆が祈っているといえよう。

According to today's Mainichi article (see the link above), Japanese amine hero "Ultrama"n has come to rescue an economically declining airport in Japan.
In fact, a 3-meter-high statue of Ultraman has been erected in Fukushima's Airport terminal building in an attempt to attract more passengers.
Why Ultraman? Because the late Eiji Tsuburaya, who created Ultraman, was born in a town next to this airport, and the airport is celebrating the 15th anniversaty of its opening. Everyone is hoping that Ultraman can be a savior for the world and for this airport in particular.
