底打ち待たれる米住宅：US Housing Bottom Yet To Be Seen

ロス地域20年来の低水準：LA Area Housing Lowest in 20 Years

ロサンゼルス・タイムズの記事（下のリンク参照）によると、米住宅市場はまだ底打ちしておらず、南カリフォルニア地域では、先月1月にまた一層の下落が記録された。
住宅販売は大きく落ち込み、1988年以来の低水準で、しかも売買された住宅の4分の1は抵当流れの物件だったとのこと。
住宅価格も下がり続けており、先月は昨年のピークから18％下落して、2005年1月以来の低い水準に落ち込んだ。
最近の利下げと景気対策の効果により、住宅市場ができるだけ早く底打ちすることを祈るのみである。

According to the LA Times article linked above, it seems that the worst is yet to come in the U.S. housing market, at least, in Southern California, where housing hit a new low in January.
Very few homes were sold and the market was slowest since 1988. "What's more, nearly 1 out of 4 homes sold had been foreclosed."
The median home price is dropping, and last month it declined 18% below last year's peak level and the lowest since January 2005.
Hopefully. recent interest cuts and stimulous spending policy will help the market hit the bottom soon.
