日本景気低迷の予測：Japan's Economy Expected to Slow Down

来年の世銀予測下方修正：World Bank Cuts 08 Outlook for Japan

本日の「The Japan Times」の記事（下のリンク参照）にあるように、世銀は2008年の日本の景気見通しを、2.4％から1.8％に下方修正した。
その理由は、輸出と個人消費が低迷するからとのことで、その背景にサブプライム問題と原油価格の高騰があることはいうまでもない。
これらのことが、最近の日本の株価に対する悲観論をもたらしていると思われる。

It is reported in today's Japan Times (see the link above) that the World Bank revised its outlook for Japan downward from 2.4% to 1.8% for 2008.
The main reason for this slowdown is the expected weakness in exports and consumer spending. Needless to say, the background factors for such slowdown include the subprime problem and skyrocketing oil prices.
All this may be contributing to pessimism over Japan's stock prices these days.
